VDJ Maf Fereydouni, is a Half Filipino-Iranian Professional Video Disc Jockey and the youngest of the 5 main founders of Groove Artists Entertainment. He is an IT Enthusiast (The Tech Guy of the Group). Maf is multiskilled within several aspects of Technology & Multimedia fields. He has extensive experience from being a Graphic & Motion Design Artist up to his main plate of Tech-Stacks which makes him a full-time Solutions Architect as an Individual Contributor IT Professional.
In 2007, He started his Entertainment career as an Amateur DJ for his passion for mainly house music, He then started private event gigs up to early 2013. On 2014 he joined some competitions, made as shortlisted finalists in 2 of those, Pioneer Digital DJing and Viber Amateur DJ Competition last 2014. He was initially mentored by Philippines All Star DJs like Manulet Santos a.k.a DJ Papi for his start, and also lightly mentored by Martin Pulgar and Mars Miranda during his onboarding of Republiq Club Viber Competition.
In 2016, DJ Owen Cortez introduced Maf the hard keys of pursueing a professional DJ career, He taught him how to be an effective DJ not by fame but by the art of DJing, and started mentoring Maf the right principles and empowered him build his own path to create his character & identity as a final brand that is VDJ Maf Fereydouni today. Maf then was also introduced to turntablism and gradually found his way to better Gigs in Top nightlife venues like Island PH, Universe Bar, and Reserve Gastro Tavern and eventually Music Festivals.
